Power of Motion Physical Therapy — Lincoln, NE

Every treatment plan at Power of Motion is built around you — your diagnosis, your goals, and the techniques most likely to get you there fastest. Dr. Daniel Crowe, PT, DPT, OCS, brings an advanced toolkit beyond standard physical therapy, combining hands-on manual therapy with evidence-based modalities and a fully equipped training space, all delivered one-on-one.

Manual Therapy

Hands-on joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques that reduce pain, restore mobility, and prepare your body for progressive loading. Manual therapy is often the fastest way to reduce pain and muscle guarding early in treatment, creating space for more effective active rehabilitation.

Functional Dry Needling

A targeted technique using thin, sterile needles to release tight, overactive muscle tissue and reduce pain — particularly effective for stubborn muscle knots, tendinopathies, and chronic muscular tension that hasn't responded to other approaches. Dr. Crowe is Level 1 certified in functional dry needling.

Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training

A specialized technique using a controlled pressure cuff to build strength and muscle size using lighter loads — ideal for post-surgical patients and others who can't yet tolerate heavy resistance training but still need to build strength efficiently. Dr. Crowe holds a Level 1 BFR certification through Smart Tools.

Therapeutic Exercise & Barbell Rehab

Progressive, evidence-based exercise is the foundation of nearly every successful rehabilitation program. For patients working toward strength, performance, or a return to demanding activity, Dr. Crowe is certified in the Barbell Rehab Method — applying foundational barbell movements like the squat, deadlift, and press safely within a rehabilitation context.

A Performance-Grade Training Space

Power of Motion is equipped with premium strength and cardio equipment, including a Tonal smart home gym and Peloton Tread+ and Bike+, giving patients access to versatile, high-quality training tools alongside traditional rehabilitation equipment — all in one space, used as part of your individualized program when appropriate.

Functional & Work-Specific Rehabilitation

For patients recovering from work injuries or preparing to return to physically demanding jobs, treatment includes functional movement training built around the specific physical demands of your role — not a generic exercise sheet.

Return-to-Sport Testing

For athletes, objective strength, hop, and movement-quality testing confirms true readiness to return to play, rather than relying on time elapsed since injury alone.

Vasopneumatic Compression & Cold Therapy (NICE)

For patients managing post-surgical swelling, acute injury, or recovering after intensive training sessions, Power of Motion utilizes vasopneumatic compression and cold therapy technology to reduce swelling, manage pain, and accelerate recovery between sessions.
