Meet Dr. Daniel Crowe, PT, DPT, OCS

Founder, Power of Motion Physical Therapy

I started Power of Motion Physical Therapy because I believe people recovering from injury deserve more time, more attention, and more expertise than most clinics are built to give them. Every patient I see gets a full session, one-on-one, with me — not an aide, not a rotating cast of staff. That's not a marketing line. It's the entire reason this clinic exists.

My background

I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, graduating first in my class, and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska — where I also played college football. Over the past 13+ years, I've treated patients across nearly every care setting: acute hospital care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient orthopedics, working alongside surgeons, physicians, and case managers to give patients the best possible outcome.

I'm a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) — the highest credential available in orthopedic physical therapy — and I've pursued advanced training beyond that baseline, including Functional Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Training, and the Barbell Rehab Method. I bring all of it into the clinic with you, because I believe the best outcomes come from combining hands-on expertise with the most current evidence in the field.

Why I do this work

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of helping people get back to the things that matter most to them — walking without pain, returning to sport, getting back to work, simply living without being limited by their body. That's still what drives me every day.

In high school football, I was given the "Spark Plug" award — given to the player who brings the energy that ignites everyone around him. That's still who I try to be for my patients: the spark that gets your engine of progress moving, even when recovery feels slow or discouraging.

Outside the clinic

I stay active every day — running, lifting weights, and golfing whenever I can. I've competed in sprint triathlons, and I try to practice what I preach about movement and strength as I get older. Most importantly, I'm a husband and a dad to two kids who keep me busy and remind me daily why staying strong and capable matters at every age.

I believe physical therapy isn't just about resolving an injury — it's about helping you reach your full potential, whatever that looks like for you. I'd be honored to help you get there.
